The systems behind the answer, and the people who stand behind it.
Cadenza is a two-founder analytics consulting firm based near Cincinnati, Ohio. We bring the systems and data behind the solution, and the people and decisions it is meant to support.
In a concerto, the cadenza is the passage where the soloist plays alone, moving freely through themes the orchestra has already set. It was once improvised. Composers began writing it into the score so it wouldn’t depend on one performer’s memory.
That’s the work: knowledge that lived in someone’s head, put into the score so it holds whoever is playing, an analyst or an AI.
Experience on both sides of the dashboard.
Sarah Çekcan spent nearly a decade leading BI and analytics governance inside a Fortune 500 manufacturer, followed by senior BI leadership at a major U.S. bank, where she leads a team of developers, engineers, and analysts supporting enterprise reporting.
At the manufacturer, different teams counted “active dealers” in different ways. Sarah led the work to agree on one definition, and reports across functions finally matched.
Grounded in how people actually work.
Cihan Çekcan spent more than ten years managing teams in education and holds an MIT Product Management Certificate.
Start with the decision.
A dashboard is only as useful as the decision it serves. We find that decision first.
Write it down.
Definitions, owners, caveats. If it only lives in someone's head, it leaves when they do.
AI does the legwork; people own the meaning.
Every number has a named owner, so every answer, from a dashboard or an AI, has someone who stands behind it.
